Prayers for the Uhl Family

I hate to do posts that are such a bummer, but my heart is so heavy today. My old childhood friend, Jodie, and his wife have a baby named Jasmine. She is the same age as Jax (two months older to be exact). At her 6 month check up they found that her head circ. had jumped from the 50th percentile to the 95th. So they ordered an MRI. Before they could get that done. She began throwing up and becoming lethargic. After taking her to the hospital and finding cancerous brain tumors, they removed them, and they kept growing back. Then the docters recommended doing a hemispherictomy (removing half of the brain). After doing that she seemed to be doing well. They just did another scan and there are very big tumors on the good side of her brain now and on her spine. It is a very aggresive kind of cancer and there isn't anything left to do. They are putting her in hospice. This poor baby girl has been through round after round of chemo and surgeries. It just breaks my heart. I can not even imagine having to go through that with Jax. Sweet baby Jasmine has touched so many lives. Please Please keep the Jodie, Stephanie, and Jasmine Uhl in your prayers. They are going through a very difficult time right now. I posted a couple pics of Jasmine.

We went to the spray park last week with our friends Cassie and Malachi. The kids had a lot of fun!! It's nice to be able to be around water without the concerns of a pool. We haven't been to a pool yet, am going to have to wait until I have an extra person to help with the kids! Life has been busy though. This week Jayden is attending his first Vacation Bible School. He likes it. He says he is "going to school at Jesus' house" : ) It's kind of funny. As soon as we get in the car or home, Jax runs to any toys that Jayden usually doesn't let him play with. lol Tonight we get to go to the circus!! I'm taking the boys and grandma is watching Aliana...should be good times!! I hope everyone is having a great week! : )

What a Beautiful City we Live in!

Garden of the Gods always takes your breath away!! To see those beatiful red rocks in the middle of the city is just amazing!! That and we have beautiful Pikes Peak to look at all of the time! We are blessed! Pikes Peak is still getting snow on it, amazing when you think that it is the end of May!!!!

We headed to America the Beautiful park last night. I hadn't gone to the park with all three of the kids by myself in quite a while. My little Jax likes to run off. I decided to go to that park because it's kind of surrounded by hills, and I figured it would be harder for him to run off. That and it is just a cool park. The kids had a lot of fun, and Jax did pretty well. : )

We got to attend a very special Welcome Home Party for our friend Jed. He just got back from a six month tour in Afghanistan with Special Forces. We are happy he is home safe and sound! And so very thankful for men like him that protect our freedom. It does not come without cost!Also a thank you to Sarah who went without her Jed for all of those months and before hand for training! : )

Well, it's been an interesting couple of weeks! Poor Jax was very sick on Mother's Day. We had plans of going to church and then going to Norman's moms house for lunch with family, but that all got changed. Jax started a bad cough on Saturday. Wheezing almost and a couple of my friends said that their kids had croup. So I thought he must have that. By Sunday morning he had a fever and was very lathargic. He wouldn't really drink anything and it as quite sad to see him lay on the couch all day not even smiling. If you know Jax, you know he had to be really sick to not move all day! LOL So Monday we went to the doctor and he had an ear infection and croup. They can't really do anything for croup unless his breathing gets really labored. Which his wasn't too bad. She did prescribe him a short period of steriods to help with the cough and then an anitibiotic for the ear infection. Poor kid, I hate having to give him antibiotics, but with his ear infections, I don't think there is a way around it. I don't know if Jayden has every been on an antibiotic, but Jax has several times for his ears. So we got him taken care of and then Jayden started the cough a couple of days later. This week Aliana had the cough. Poor girl, she made herself throw up one morning from coughing so much. And how do you stop a baby from coughing??! She had a couple of days where you could just tell that she didn't feel good. But she is mostly back to herself by now. So hopefully we are done with the Sicky's now!!! : ) Also, Jayden and I got to attend a special Princess/Prince Tea Party for Addison. She turned 4 years old!!! : ) Happy Birthday to her!! : )

Wonderful Easter Weekend!!

We had a wonderful Easter weekend last weekend! What a reason to celebrate....a sacrifice made for us! He is alive!!!!

Last Saturday my dad, Cathy, Granny, and K came over and we ate dinner and dyed Easter eggs! It was a lot of fun. Then Norm had to show off his dance moves on the Wii! ; )

Then Sunday we all went to church at our church, Rocky Mountain Calvary, and then had about 15 peWell here are just a couple pics to share...oh, but the way, the day after Easter Aliana had her four month check up and she was 18lbs 12oz and 26.5 inches long! BIG girl!! : ) Her Easter dress was 12 months!! : )
ople over for lunch. My grandparents were in town for the week from New Mexico, and it was nice to have them here!! My mom and Keven and Norm's parents were included in the 15 people. It was a good time together. After lunch we relaxed and watched the movie "Tangled"....Aliana got it in her Easter basket! : ) We were so busy, we forgot to do the Easter egg hunt! lol Jayden will know to ask next year, so we won't get away with that!! The kids are all spoiled, Easter stuff from us, Auntie K, Dad and Cathy, Grandma and Grandpa A., Lita and PopPops, and PopPops and Gramma Mernie. What can I say.....we are very loved! : )

Busy weekend!

Time seems to fly by faster and faster! The kids had fun with daddy while I worked this weekend. Then we went to church on Saturday night. The Sunday School teacher asked me if Jayden was tired since he was so calm that night! Maybe it's better we go to church at night.....his energy is mostly worn out! lol She said he listened really well and was really calm. Afterwards we decided to go to Fargo's Pizza. It was the first time we have gone to a restaurant with all 3. And honestly, I can't remember the last time we went to a restaurant with even just Jayden and Jax. They did really good. Fargo's is a good place to go since it's pretty noisy and lots of action going on all around. The boys had a lot of fun playing in the arcade. By the time we got home it was 10pm. So needless to say, everyone was ready for bed. I worked for awhile on Sunday and then the boys went to Lita and PopPops while we went to our Small Group. There were some new couples that just joined, and we are excited to get to know them. One of the couples has a little boy named Malachi and he will be three this summer. Guess when his birthday is.....yep, July 12, same as our boys! Kind of funny. After our small group we went to eat at BJ's Brewery. We had heard that they have really good pizza. It was pretty good. We picked the boys up after we ate. They always have fun at Lita and Pop Pops. My brother, Josh, had made a big picture of a dinosaur when he was little. My mom has our artwork, from when we were kids, hung on the wall of the laundry room. Jayden happened to see it and fell in love with it. So Lita let him take it home and it's now hung on our wall at home. Little did Uncle Josh know, his nephew would be very impressed with his artwork someday! : ) We got home late last night, so everyone slept well last night! Jayden and I were the only ones awake at 9:30am!! Everyone must have been tired! Well, I hope everyone is having a great week!

Fun Week Already!!

Well, we have had a fun week already!! Yesterday we got to visit with some cousins. They are here for a week and stopped by for a couple hours. They have two little girls, Rayna who is two and a half and Aireka who is 6 months old. Jayden and Jax are both bigger than Rayna and Aliana is bigger than Aireka, who is double her age! lol They are cute and petite! Then today Nic and Addison came over to play! The boys have a blast with Nic. He is 3 months older than Jayden. And Addison is 4 weeks younger than Aliana....so they will have so much fun together when they get a little bigger. Then this afternoon we skyped with my dad and Cathy. That was fun for the boys to see Grandma and Pop Pops and for them to be able to see the kids too! Here are a couple pics! Have a great week! : )

Aliana Kristina is 3 months old today.....how time flies!! She is such a joy in our lives!! Such a smiley little baby!! Well, I probably shouldn't say "little"! I'm guessing she is close to 17 pounds now. We are so thankful for her and she is so precious!!

Fun Week So Far

Well we have had a fun week! Saturday we got our green on and went to the parade. That's what our main picture is from. While we were driving to the parade, Jayden says, "Mommy, your hair is beautiful!" It was the sweetest thing I had heard, even if I did have my green wig on! :) The boys weren't too interested in the parade, which surprised me. But I think it was due to the fact that we didn't get to sit too close. So maybe next year. That night we had friends over and ate and played some dance games on the Wii. We have the Just Dance games and the Michael Jackson Dance game. Lots of fun. We got to see my mom and Keven on Sunday. The boys always like seeing them. It has been so warm the past couple of days. The past two days the boys have played outside. They had sidewalk chalk today and had loads of fun with that. Needless to say, the bath water tonight wasn't crystal clear! ; ) Well I'll have more pics soon. St. Patty's Day is tomorrow! : )

The boys were thrilled to get outside today!! They went and played in the backyard. Jayden gets really scared when he hears the dog next door through the fence. He didn't want to stay out there unless he could see me. In fact, Jayden came inside while Jax played outside awhile by himself. I finally had to make him come inside so we could eat lunch. Of course he found a little pile of snow in the corner of the yard and his pants were soaked! LOL That boy LOVES water!! He will have a blast this summer! Hope everyone is having a great week!! : )

We had our last appointment with our midwife today. Aliana has gained a pound since Monday!!! She now weighs 15lbs. 5oz. Healthy baby girl!! On the way home we stopped at the park and I had a chance to try out my new lens on the camera. I was pretty far away taking these pictures and they turned out great! The first one is just a bath picture I took that I thought turned out pretty neat! Hope everyone's week is going well!! It's almost Friday! : )

Aliana's 2 Month Check

We took Aliana for her two month check up today. She weighs 14lbs. 4oz. and is 25 inches long. That's off the charts for weight and length! So needless to say, I think she is doing quite well!! : )
Granny got to go home from the hospital yesterday!! She is so happy to be home!! She has to be off of work for a week, but we are glad she is out of the hospital!

We're Debt FREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!

Well, as the title says, we are debt free!!! We didn't have a huge amount of debt to pay off, but it sure it nice to be done!!
We purchased something Friday that I have been wanting for forever!!! A new camera!! A REALLY nice one!! It's a Nikon d90 and it came with two different lenses. I'm super excited to try it out and learn what I can do with it. The pictures posted today are from my new camera. I haven't had much time at all to mess with it yet. But I just had to take a few pictures! : )
So between just getting a laptop and a camera, I feel like it's Christmas!! I am so blessed!!
No real update on Granny. Her blood was still pretty thick, and so they highered her dosage of blood thinner. So hopefully it will help. We are hoping she will get to go home soon, but we don't know yet.
Better get to bed, but wanted to give a quick update on the few things happening lately! : )

I went and saw Granny today. No real updates. She is on blood thinners and they are hoping the clot will dissolve soon. I think she was happy to see Aliana. She thought she was adorable, which she is! ; ) It was nice to be able to see Granny. Hopefully she will be better soon. Thanks for all the prayers!

New Computer Means More Blogging!! : )

Okay, what a day!!! I feel like everyday is so busy, even if there isn't a lot going on! Was busy all morning just with laundry and getting a shower in. It's amazing how long that takes with diapers and feeding in between. But was glad to get most of the laundry done. Norm is such a wonderful husband. I folded laundry and he vaccuumed. My great friend, Mallorie, came over and brought us lunch. Chic-fil-a....Norm's favorite! :) Norm works everyday at 2:30, so after lunch he leaves to work. After lunch Mallorie stayed with the boys and Aliana and I ran over to my dads house. Pop Pops and Grandma Cathy were happy to see my chubby cheeked baby girl, and were amazed at how much she had grown. My awesome dad is getting a new computer and got his "old" laptop all ready for me. It's by no means old! Quite fancy if I don't say so myself. HD screen and lit up keyboard and all!! I'm told it's pretty powerful, although all those numbers and gigs, don't mean much to me!! I know I can edit and put all my pictures on it and surf the internet! I am so very thankful to my daddy!! While I was over at my dad's, he got a text from my Granny. They found a blod clot in her lung, so she was headed to the hospital. So please keep her in your prayers if you think of her!! Hopefully that will be cleared up in a couple of days! After my dad's house we came home and ate dinner. Then Mallorie and I were off to buy her a new computer from Best Buy. So here it is 10p.m. and we are here both playing on our new laptops!! : ) : ) I'll include a couple of pictures since I'm so behind! Hope everyone is having a great week!! : )

Just a Bit Behind!

Well....here it is the end of February already. Aliana Kristina McKay was born December 24, 2010. She will be two months old this week. How time flies! We are all doing great. We don't get out much right now. Jax is 19 months old, and he is a little explorer. Much more curious than Jayden ever was. So with a newborn, it's hard to chase after him if we're out. Jayden is a good little helper. Will be getting a computer here soon....so hope to keep this updated!

Long time no talk!

Wow!! So maybe it's been a little while since I posted anything!!! So much has happened since last summer! Biggest news, we found out in April that we are going to have another baby. And we found out last week that it's a girl! I'm due Dec. 19. The news that it's a girl is a little shocking! I'm used to boys! I'm sure it will be a fun change! Lots of pink and frill! : )
July has been totally crazy for us withal much going on!! We went to New Mexico for the fourth of July. My moms side of the family always has a family reunion then. We hadn't been since 2006, so it was nice to go! Then the following weekend was the huge birthday party for the boys! Jayden turned 3, and Jax turned 1. We had about 60 people at the party, and we had it at Norm's moms house. We rented a big bouncy house and I think the kids had a blast in that. That Monday was their actual birthdays and we took them to the North Pole. Then that Wednesday was my birthday and we went out to dinner with about 8 of our friends. That week my great grandma passed away at age 94, so we also went to her rosary in Denver. That Friday we headed to go camping. We left Jax with our aunt and mom and took Jayden camping. It was a lot of fun! We went up to Taylor Reservoir, near Gunnison. So as you can see, things have been a little crazy for us this month!! Hopefully I will keep caught up on this better! We will see!!! : )

We had a blast today at America the Beautiful Park!!! We went with my friend, Yamira, and her son, Nicolas. He is a couple months older than Jayden, and they have a lot of fun together!! They played on the playground for a long time then the water had gotten turned on and so we went to play in that! At the playground they found a squirrel in a tree, and they were chasing it from tree to tree. Which they just found hilarious, and was quite amusing to watch! We may try and go to this park again tomorrow. Jax is gonna have so much fun with Jayden next summer!!

Well our little Jax gained 9 ounces in 2 days from Wednesday to Friday....so I think he is doing pretty good!! :) Jayden is liking him quite a bit. He is always asking where he is, and then once he can see him, he is good and goes on his way playing!! lol Here are a few new pics!

Well......we finaly have a big announcement to make......Jax James McKay has made his appearance.....and on his big brothers birthday too!!!! :) He was born July 12th, 2009 at 3:12a.m. weighing in at 8lbs. 4oz., 21.5 inches long! How fun to share both my boys birthdays on the same day!!! Will post more pictures later of course, but wanted to put this up. We had a wonderful homebirth experience and are doing great!

We had a fun day with Braedon today! I gave Jayden and Braedon haircuts and then we were off to the pool with Karen. It was quite fun. By the time we had done that and gotten a bath....the boys were passed out in the back of the car for the ride home!!! In case you were wondering about the scrapes on Jayden's head.......he fell out back and got some road rash on his forehead......he is looking like a little boy these days!! lol

We are just thrilled that the Eckert Family is here visiting!!!! It's been over a year since we have seen them and we have missed them so much!!! Jayden was 8 months old when they left, so he has grown tremendously since they have seen him. He just LOVES Braedon. When they got here, Braedon ran up to me and gave me a great big hug and said oh so seriously, "Titi, I really missed you." Oh my Braedon boy, he could melt my heart!!!

On another note....just had an appointment with the midwife. I asked her if she thought he would be here sooner than later and she said that she really thought that he would be here within the next week!! So the Eckert's may get to meet Baby Jax! And she guessed he will be a big 7 pounder, maybe a tiny over 8. So we shall see!!!! :)

Jayden and I went swimming with Uncle B and Aunty K. And we ate pizza at the pool. It was very fun! Then last night, Jayden went to a babysitters and we drove up to Denver to the Cheesecake Factory! Mom, Aunty K, Jeff, Des, Jamie, and Katie met us there. It was VERY delicious, of course!! We had a very nice time out!!!! Just wanted to update everyone! ;)

Well what an eventful week we have had!!!! Thursday I had a doc appt in the morning, ran Jayden to my mom's house, went to the church to help decorate for the wedding....then it was Bachelorette time for K! We went to the mall and got pedicure and manicures. Then we drove to K's moms house to meet another girl there. We then drove up to Denver to Dave and Buster's. Another girl met us there and it was a lot of fun. We had dinner there and then played arcade games. We left there probably around 9:45p.m. and headed to see a movie. We saw "Ghosts of Girlfriends Pasts". It was decent. It had a good point, but had a lot of scenes in it that weren't necessary and made it kind of raunchy.....do you like how I snuck my movie review in there!! lol We had fun though and didn't get back in the Springs until about 1:30a.m. Here are some pics from our fun night!

I have lots to fill in, but haven't uploaded new pics from my camera yet. I did have a wonderful Mother's Day. Norman and Jayden made me a wonderful french toast and egg breakfast in bed! And I got a dozen roses and a card. They also set up a new frame for our bed, which I really wanted! Norman had to work at noon, but it was a wonderful morning!! And then Jayden and I got to hang out with Karen all day! We went swimming in the indoor pool and later ordered pizza. I hope all the mothers had a wonderful day!! :)

This past Friday we went on a date, sort of! :) The grandparents and great grandparents on my side of the fam watched Jayden. And Norm and I went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse!! It's my absolute favorite!!! And then went to the Thorn.....had front row seats....it was awesome!!! It was nice just getting to go to dinner and relax and eat our food!!! You enjoy the little things in life when you have an almost 2 year old! :)

Well!! We went to New Mexico for the funeral. My friend, Mallorie, drove along with me. That was great, she helped me so much!!! Half way there, we stopped and Jayden had an "accident" with #2 and it was everywhere!!! Thank goodness we had stopped!!! I just had though maybe he had too much juice or something. Well we got to New Mexico and drove to my grandparents ranch. I noticed Jayden had a fever and gave him some Tylenol. I thought maybe he just was tired from the drive and everything. We went to bed, ready to wake up early for the funeral the next morning. Jayden starting crying at about 2:30 in the morning and I went and got him some milk and put him in my bed. Well he gobbled down the milk and a couple minutes later started throwing up!! Yuck!!! Poor little guy!!! So most the house was awake by then! Jayden still had a fever and I gave him more Tylenol. So we didn't get to go to the funeral, which stinks!!! But we stayed home and relaxed. My back got really screwed up on the drive there and Jayden and I were a sight to see. I couldn't really bend to pick him up and he was all whiny since he was sick!!! Good times, right?! lol We actually both started feeling better by Wednesday and my grandpa drove us to Sante Fe. We looked around at the shops, which was fun. Then we ate lunch. On our drive home, Mallorie and I both were not feeling well. The food was not good or something!!!! So needless to say... I was SO SICK that whole night!!!! Apparently New Mexico does not like me right now!!! ;) I had to drive home the next morning and I had been up sick all night and then had a fever that morning!!! No Bueno!!! It was going to snow that night though and so I knew we had to leave or the roads would be bad! And Mallorie had to work the next day!! So home we went!! The drive actually went pretty fast and we were so happy to get home!!! My poor grandparents put up with us through all of our sickness and everything!! I think Norman missed us too. We got home and there was a rose and candy for me and a toy car for Jayden!! :) I didn't feel good again that night and it just was no good!!!! Friday I felt mostly better and Saturday we walked in the St. Patrick's Day Parade for a friends business!! It was pretty fun!! So I'm ready for a little bit of normalness!! Please Pray

My Uncle got diagnosed with leukemia I think 5 years ago. He underwent chemo treatments, and it then went away. Well he had some more blood tests and the cancer was throughout his body. The docters knew he didn't have long! He drove home to New Mexico to gather some things, and then back to Denver to the hospital. He checked in Wednesday morning. And by Wednesday night, they said he most likely wouldn't make it through the night! They could not stabilize him. He somehow lasted and I drove up last night (Thursday night). It was so sad to see him! Every breath seemed like such a struggle!! And it would be several seconds before he would breath again. Everytime he took a breath, you would think that it was his last. His eyes were shut, but I saw a tear on his eye. I told my Auntie and she went over to him and said, "It's okay honey! You can let go! I love you." Talk about breaking your heart! He was still struggling to breath when I left, a little after ten pm. I got a call on my way back from Denver that he had died about 20 minutes after we left! Please pray for my aunt!! This is her second time going through this, and I know it will be very tough!! Also please keep my family in your prayers. Thank you!

Well!!! Our little man will be hitting the "terrible two's" before we know it! He gave us a glimpse of it last week! He was just testing his limits last week! He has been back to his normal, wonderful self this week though!! It has been such nice weather this week....I'm getting excited for summer!!! Jayden just loves to be outside!!! And Jax will be here in 4 months!!!! I know it will come fast!!! My friend, Jenny, who lives in Germany, will be coming for a week or two in July!! I am super excited!!! And our friends the Eckert's will be visiting in June!!! I can't wait to see them!! I miss my little Braedon so much!! And Jayden will just absolutely love playing with him!!! Fun times ahead!!!! The pictures are a couple from my phone. Lily just cracks me up somedays!! She is such a cutie!

We had a very fun Valentines Day! Some interesting parts, but fun! We slept in and then got ready and headed to Cripple Creek to see the Ice Fest there. We waited to eat until we got up there because we thought we would find something interesting to eat up there. By the time we got up there it was about 1:30p.m. and we were starving. Jayden had been in the car an hour and half and was not pleased with the idea at all of sitting in a high chair at a restaurant! We were there 5 minutes and decided that it wasn't going to work. It was one of the first times since having him that I felt like the parent with "that kid"! Agh! He was whining and crying and people were staring. It was interesting! So needless to say we kindly told the waitress we weren't going to eat there and left! We looked shortly at the ice sculptures and then went to the car to leave. Well the car was already on E and we needed gas! Norman has this thing with trying to prove how far we can go on a tank of gas or something. He didn't want to drive to the other side of town for gas, and insisted we would make it to Divide. So it was a long 20 minutes of wondering if we would make it! Even he was getting a little nervous at the end going up some of the hills!! Is it a guy thing or what?? So we coasted into the gas station on fumes, I'm sure, but hey, we made it! lol Later that evening we got Texas Roadhouse "to go" and ate and Norm's parents house. His sister, Karen, also ate with us. We then went and saw Brian Regan at the Pikes Peak Center! He is a very hilarious comedian. He is known as the "king of clean". You won't hear a cleaner comedian! But he is so hilarious!! So that about rounds off our day!! Our dear friend, Susie, watched Jayden. We are so thankful!!! It was a very nice evening out!!! Well I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines also!!!! :)

Fun Weekend

Well we had a good weekend. Saturday I worked until about 2, but I always enjoy work! Norman kept Jayden and Norm's friend came over while I was at work to wire a motor. That's about all I know about that! :) I went and picked up a new bed for Jayden after work. Then our friends, Jeff and Des came over and we ate, played a game, and watched a movie!! It was quite fun!! I had never played Mad Gab. That game is hilarious! Then Sunday morning we went to church and then Norman had to work. Jayden and I hung out and then ran to the store. I was so excited to find a chair for my salon there!! It was on clearance and was only $60! The cheapest one I had found was over $100, so I am very excited about that. When Norm got off work we had a relaxing evening and ate spaghetti and watched a movie. It was nice that Norman had Saturday off though! He has next Saturday off and we are going to dinner and to see Brian Reagan (a comedian). Then he has the next Saturday off too and we are taking a birth class about what to expect with a midife and home delivery. Exciting! Well it's already been an interesting morning! The baby I watch, Lily, has diarrhea! I went in to check on her and she started to cry! She had poop past her waist!!!!! GGRROOSSS!!! So needless to say, she had a bath and threw all the clothing/carseat material in the wash!!! Hopefully that's my only big change of the day!!! Have a great day everyone! :)

Goodbye January

Well...I know I need to update, but sometimes I feel there isn't much to update on! I watch a 6 month old (Lily) everyday and that has been pretty normal. She has had this terrible cough, I call it her "smoker cough". So between trying to help her get her poor mucus out and chasing Jayden around.....there's never enough time. And somehow I manage to work at the salon also. Today I didn't have to work and it was very nice. We slept in and then made and ate a big breakfast! Norman went off to work and I am actually getting some organizing done! I love to re-arrange furniture and I spent the afternoon re-organizing our bedroom and closet while Jayden took a nap. Then we ate and were off to our cousin's basketball game. He plays JV for Coronado. They were playing against Palmer, and it's a little heard not to be partial to Palmer since I went there! ;) Palmer did win! Now we are back at home and I'm back to chasing Jayden around as he tries to get into stuff! I do love him, but he is a busy man! We are waiting for daddy to get home, then we will watch a movie or something. Then we have nursery tomorrow and Norman will probably have to work a long day. He will only be doing this pizza delivery thing for about another month, so we are glad about that! I guess people like pizza for the super bowl! :) I hope you all had a wonderful January! Can you believe a month has already passed?!!!!! Adios!

Law Reversal Already :(

I was just reading the President Obama is already reversing the law that is in place that prevents tax payer money to going towards places the perform or counsel on abortion. How sad that this is already getting reversed!! These precious lives that we are killing...it breaks my heart!

IT'S A BOY!!!!!!!

We just found out today!!!! We are so excited!! I was hoping it was a boy, but had kind of convinced myself that it was probably a girl! So I was a little surprised!! Norman is really excited too!! He said we might have to try until we have a girl though! lol One kid at a time!!! So we are thinking we will name him Jax James McKay!

This picture was taken I think last April...but I just have to say how blessed I am! I truly have a wonderful husband! He is always willing to help me with whatever I need, and no matter how many hours he has worked!!! What a blessing! I hear people all the time complaining about their husbands and I have no complaints! He is a wonderful daddy, and I know Jayden truly adores him!!! Norman can't go near the door without Jayden breaking out the waterworks...he loves his daddy! I just feel really thankful and am so thankful to God that He blessed me with such great and supportive friends and family around us! I never worried if we are cared for! Thank you and love you! :)

Well I finally have pictures uploaded!!! Yay for me! ;) There is one of Jayden "helping" me cook. He took the spatula of refried beans and was smearing them all over the stove!!! What a little chef we have!!! :) Hope you like the pictures! :) I'm now 15 weeks pregnant! So things are going pretty good. We should find out soon if we are having a boy or girl. So that is exciting!!! :)

Okay, okay...I know!!! I haven't gotten on here to figure this thing out! Where to start! Jayden is just about 18months old now!! Boy how the months have flown by!! We had a wonderful Christmas, and he loved the lights and gifts this year! We are very excited about the next little one on the way too. We may find out in just a couple of weeks what we are having if the baby cooperates! Exciting! I am really enjoying the new salon I am at. Norm always gets a little extra time off in the winter and Jayden really loves him home! He really is a daddy's boy! Well I hope I can keep this up and figure out everything on here! :) The picture shown here is from October....so I'm just a little behind! :)
